I dislike being in competition with people where there isn’t a solution that benefits everyone. The us vs. them mentality has always irked me (though there are times when it’s in good humor and enjoyable). I had read something about introverts being more likely to compete with themselves (set goals for themselves to overcome) and less likely to make another person that marker.  Zoom
