The patterns point to one right conclusion.” I see seeing multiple possibilities as the step before the right conclusion, a step I don’t normally notice…because it isn’t actually multiple possibilities I notice but multiple things leading towards one possibility.
It’s odd reading about INxJs having an adversarial relationship to Ne. But, I first encountered it over the course of my friendship with the ENFP in my life. When generating options she frequently throws out “you don’t have too accept all of these!” and makes it clear that ideas don’t need to be acted on. She has good ideas so, I usually want to act on all of them…
