Weird thinking about INFJs in the abstract. I also, have met 2 INFJs on 2 separate plane trips. Both were fantastic conversations and very guru-like individuals. One was a psychologist and she told me she was surrounded by INFPs & INFJs. It’s interesting to think how our line of work can effect the types we’re around. I definitely know an inordinate number of NTs, especially INTJs (yay, tech industry).
I have a strong reaction to INFJs not being true to themselves/trying to be something they’re not. I think in part because I’m bothered when I see people trying to be something they’re not and in part because I know it’s self-destructive for an INFJ to box emotion. Hm, I worked with 2 on a project and liked them but, wasn’t close to them. I disliked how willing they were to be someone else for other people. I think it rubs me the wrong way because that’s part of myself that I dislike at times (adapting to suit the needs of others).
